When you visit a website, a large amount of data—including personal data—is automatically transmitted over the Internet. From a technical standpoint, this is necessary for the website to function at all and to provide you with the best possible experience. For example, whenever you visit a website, retrieve an image from a server, load an external plugin (or script), stream a video, or use any of the many other transmission options available, data is sent from your computer to the server from which you are retrieving this information. When you visit a website, your browser (e.g., Firefox, Internet Explorer, Edge, Opera, Safari) automatically sends certain information from your system. This data includes, for example:

• Operating System
• Screen resolution
• Keyboard Layout (Language)
• IP address from which the website or file was accessed
• Name of the accessed webpage or file
• Timestamp (date and time) of the request
• Browser name and version
• Amount of data transferred
• Access Status (File Transferred, Error Code)

• Maintenance and monitoring of IT security (e.g., to detect hacker attacks) and IT operations
• Statistical Analysis (of Website Usage)
• Improving the Website
• customized version of the website or files so that they are (or can be) displayed optimally on your device

Pseudonymization or anonymization is not used for security logs, as this would make it impossible to identify potential attackers. As a rule, data is analyzed for other purposes in an anonymized form, and no profiling is conducted. Further information can be found later in this privacy policy.

Data Subject
The “data subject” (also referred to as the “individual concerned”) is the person whose personal data is collected and processed. In the following, the “data subject” is also referred to as a “website visitor” or “user.”

Information on Data Subject Rights
Any data subject may exercise their rights (data subject rights) with the data controller. This can be done via email, by mail, or using a provided form. Inquiries by phone are also possible. However, inquiries by phone are only accepted and not answered over the phone. The data controller selects the method of communication (mail, email, other means) and sends the response to the data subject’s inquiry via that method. Responses to inquiries regarding data subject rights are provided free of charge. A fee may be charged in cases of excessive exercise of data subject rights (e.g., a high volume of requests). The response will be provided within the statutory deadline of one month. The deadline may be extended in exceptional cases (e.g., a high volume of requests or a highly complex request). The data subject must authenticate themselves to the controller to ensure that they are authorized to exercise their rights as a data subject. We use session cookies. These are automatically deleted when you close your browser. We also use persistent cookies. These remain stored until their expiration date. All web pages are transmitted unencrypted.

You can contact us using our contact form. Please fill out all required fields. Alternatively, you can contact us by phone, email, or in person.

The legal basis for data processing based on consent is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. The legal basis for data processing when sending an email is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. If the purpose of contacting us via email is to enter into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR is the legal basis for the data processing.

We process the personal data collected through the contact form solely for the purpose of handling your inquiry or responding to your contact request. If you contact us via email, we also have a legitimate interest in processing your personal data.
Other data processed in connection with the submission of the form and related processes is used to prevent or investigate misuse and to ensure the security of our IT systems.

The data will be deleted as soon as the purpose for which it was collected has been fulfilled. This is the case when the data entered in the contact form or the data sent via email is no longer needed for the conversation or to respond to the inquiry, provided that no other legal retention periods prevent this.
Any additional data collected in connection with the transmission of the data will be deleted no later than 7 days after collection.

Consent to data processing may be revoked at any time. In this case, the conversation cannot be continued, or the request cannot be processed further. In the event of an objection, all data stored as a result of the initial contact will be deleted, provided that no statutory retention periods prevent this.
